Apple AirTag Police Track Stole $1.1-Million Armored Truck
An Apple AirTag can be used to track many things, including $1.1-milllion in cash stolen from an armored truck. This device was hidden inside a bag of stolen money, which led law enforcement to the hideout location of Devonte Davis, 26, and Darrell Singleton, 18, who were both charged with armed robbery.

The robbery took place at around 9:25 am on Tuesday just outside Jewel-Osco on 183rd Street in Homewood, Illinois. A Brink’s security personnel was attempting to reload an ATM at a bank when the two robbers brandished handguns and stole a gun and a bag of money from the courier, as well as cash. The two then forcibly dragged the courier into the armored truck and ordered her to open inner compartments and pass them the bags of money.
