2024 Porsche 718 Spyder RS Debuts, Has 493HP and Does 0-60 in 3.2 Seconds

Sleek and stylish, the 2024 Porsche 718 Spyder RS is the automaker’s most powerful version yet of its open-top, mid-engine roadster. Power comes from a naturally aspirated 4.0L six-cylinder engine making 493 hp and 331 lb-ft of torque, mated to a seven-speed PDK transmission, enabling it to accelerate from 0-60 mph in just 3.2-seconds, while topping out at 191 mph.

Even though the front end resembles that of the 718 Cayman GT4 RS, the 718 Spyder RS features an aerodynamic ducktail spoiler that is both larger and reshaped compared to the former. Its manually-operated, lightweight soft top consists of two parts: a sunshield and a weather protector. Inside, there’s a Race-Tex covered GT Sport steering wheel and racing seats made of lightweight CFRP in a carbon-weave finish. Available in Spring 2024, priced from $160,700 USD excluding the $1,450 delivery, processing and handling fee.
