Desktop Steam UI Gets a Fresh Coat of Paint, Complete With New In-Game Overlay and More
The desktop Steam UI just got updated with a fresh coat of paint, complete with updated dialogs, menus, fonts, and colors. A completely overhauld in-game overlay boasts a brand-new user interface, which adds enhanced utility to allow for more customizability.
Plus, a new toolbar enables you to access anything necessary in the middle of a game, whether it be friends chat, achievements progress, guides, discussions, or a browser. Want to keep track of something in a game? Use the new Notes feature to jot down notes with rich text formatting, the ability to paste images, multiple notes per game, and even in offline mode. Now the only thing Valve has to worry about is the ASUS ROG Ally.
