Google Try-On Leverages the Power of Generative AI to Let You Preview Clothes
Google Try-On is a new shopping feature that leverages the power of generative AI to let you preview clothes without ever leaving home. It can show you exactly how clothes look on a variety of real models, as its AI model can take just a single clothing image and accurately reflect how it would drape, fold, cling, stretch, and form wrinkles / shadows on a various real models.
For now, Try-On is limited to U.S. shoppers, but starting today, those users can virtually try on women’s tops from brands across Google, including Anthropologie, Everlane, H&M and LOFT. Simply select products with the “Try On” badge and select the model that you’d like to see with the garment on.
We believe that AI will continue to improve our lives in ways big and small, including making everyday activities like shopping just a bit more helpful (and fun). Stay tuned for more ways we’re using advanced technology like AI to help you shop online with confidence,” said Lilian Rincon, Google Senior Director of Product, Shopping.
